Friday we were tasked with doing a little base defense... in a cannon-toting, hi-revving, armored little kuss knows as the FW190..

We also had a couple extras from The Gunfighters fill out our ranks.

After some initial carryover controversy pertaining to actual base we were to defend, ( Thanks, Baumer, for getting Rolling Thunder on board with that ) we moseyed on up to about 22k feet and lurked on an E-W path North of our target area.  Baumer maintained a 10K alt along the same area... NOE sniffer.

A single Yak triggered the base defenses with the majority coming in from the North a few minutes later.  We engaged  a herd of A20s and LA5s.  After the initial attack, the survivors refueled and rearmed.  Those with damage towered out.  TeeRex and Drone reupped and encountered a secondary wave of a couple A20s and LA5s.  They were disbursed in short order by the remaining defenders.

I know I will not be able to make it next week.  Our team made the state semi-finals, so I have  3 hour drive to the middle of Nebraska Friday night.
