Greetings Mongrels!
This AAR is a combination of frames 2 and 3, adhering to the 'Reduction in Virtual Paperwork Act of 2013'.
Frame 2 the Mongrels were the only unit tasked with escorting the strike force from CV88.

We launched A6M2s .. we flew for awhile, tagging along with the D3As .The B5Ns stayed low.
As we entered the target grid area, our attack group leader had the B5Ns take a sector line South in search of the fleet ( due to inadequate recon ) while the rest of us took the other sector line. The B5Ns were soon discovered and vaporized.
A few minutes later the recon located the fleet and we vectored to the target. The D3As arrived and delivered their ords.. which didnt seem to be enough to sink the CV. After all available D3s had dropped, we descended to engage a significant number of blue planes on the deck.
I personally found that the wings of an A6M2 will depart from the airframe when stressed too much.
The other Mongrels didn't fare much better.

The Mongrels were assigned D3A duty for this flight. We rollled and formed up with LCA for a rather impressive swarm of D3s.
