Watched it today. Was disappointed. Must have been low budget. Very B movie IMHO.
Great story, but a shame they could not have done a better job.
Sounds were some of the worst I have heard in a movie of this type. As far as the action and any thing close to real ACM. Zip.
.50 Cal's could do some amazing things. Wink
In one scene they did some rolls over their field. It was the special effect they used 50 years ago when they would roll the camera, but the pilot would just stay seated in the cockpit. Roll Eyes
Also was amazing how well you could hear them talk while flying, no engine sounds. lol

If you want to see it, wait till you can rent the DVD.

Dang..   with all the incredible effects they can do with sci-fi ( latest Star Trek movie, for instance ) it's a shame they couldn't do more than that.

Maybe we could petition Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg to try a version?  If it comes close to 'The Pacific', it should be killer.

Thanks for the review.  I'll wait for the rental.

Black Knights: The Story of the Tuskegee Airman is better. The Tuskegee Airman is a better movie. Please, don't give anymore money to George Lucas. Maybe they'll let him stop making bad movies.
