Greetings Mongrels!

I just got back from a week long mission trip with our church youth to Milwaukee, WI.

Very enlightening and the kids got to help some inner city rejuvination projects and mingle with some of the residents of the area.

The work week culminated with an afternoon at the beach on Lake Michigan... which just happened to coincide with the practice day for an airshow they were having today.. Muahahahaaa..

Recipe:  B1 bomber.. high speed pass... a little humidity.. add shockwave and...

They used to have B1's at the base in Wichita and would see them quite often.
And being a fisherman I would always think catfish whiskers when I would see it.

yeah.. it was loud..

but, ya know... I think the F18 is louder.  It went by before I could get the camera out.

I got some clean pics of it just flying by.. and some aerobats I'll post later.

I was just stunned by the shockwave condensation.. I'd had only seen that on youtube before.  Had I known they were having an airshow, I would have packed my 300mm lens..  I took those with my 70-200mm.
