Wow, flushed..

Up here, we're expecting something like that every few years or so.. but we all have basements to hide in.  Ok, not expecting it, but I think that if we did get hit we wouldn't be surprised too badly.

I don't think I'd like to be exposed like that..

Amazing the complete destruction where the only way to tell where the house was is the pile of wood shards is deeper.

Been thinking/praying about y'all.

We have basements in Alabama. I am convinced that a basement is not enough. These were very rare F3, F4, F5 tornadoes.
I'm not trying to sell anything or tell you what to do but I'm putting in a vault you could call it, I guess, that seats 5 people and is bolted into 4 inches of concrete that the salesman says has been tested against 450 mph winds. (Is that a runon sentence) I think they are called tornado safes I left the paperwork at home. I would consider building some type of tornado safe room even if you have a basement from what I saw from the 3 days I had to help people around where I live clean up. Just my opinion
take it for what you think its worth.

Wow.
Awful footage to view. Houses and those in them just gone.

Odd to see those two cows just laying side by side like that.

One more video of the tornadoes then I'll hush about them. It is very rare you actually see the tornado in Alabama until it hits you. They are usually wrapped in rain and hidden in the trees. We have just as many tornadoes here as they do in 'tornado alley'  but the chasers go there for the view this one hit Cullman on 4/27. The official count was 28 tornadoes on the ground that day in Alabama. I believe 276 people were killed in Alabama alone. What was so bad was that morning straight line winds came through that knocked out power everywhere and even the tornado sirens didn't work so no one saw my favorite weathermans broadcast either.
