LOL Malap...it sure was!

I followed Baumer's orders and went straight through the buffs. Man, they lit up all pretty.
Even got one victim to frag one of his squaddies!

Then I got greedy/stupid and collided with my prey..

Congrats to Harppa for earning the Rin Tin Tin ribbon for being the only Mongrel to bring his plane back to the field in a reasonably
Controlled fashion!

Glad some of you got some kills.
Was not my night to be sure. Was following Harppa into the hord and lined up on a lead buff. I 'think' harppa picked the same one. Just a few moments before I was going to pull the trigger it blew up. I did not see any tracers come from Harppa so I guess it was not him. Quickly adjusted to hit the next inline, but had to break off to avoid a collision. After that a Ki84 was on me and I called to Harppa for help. He shook off the Ki84, but then had 2 fighters on himself.   I turned to assist and found the same or another Ki84 on me again. He quickly closed to 400 and I had to Split S figuring I would bring him low if nothing else and kill him when we were alone. After the Split S he was still on me and started turning and rolling trying to shake some speed. I blacked out for a moment and then came too. Tracers flying past I jerked hard on the stick and instantly blacked out again.   That was the last light of day I saw.  :crybaby2:About 30 seconds later I hit the ground.

Was really mad at myself. Was looking forward to flying with you guys and I do something stupid like that. Logged off because I could not think of anything nice to say.

Well I think I am jinxed!!!  Since becoming C.O. I can't hit a plane with a barn it seems      However, concernig last night sea of red, I think we did ok.  The enemy bombers did not do well at all, they downed 1 bomber hanger, the radar and 1 field gun.   It came at a price, but we broke up their run very well it seems.
