We have a thread going on in AH/finns site about what is our favourite music or what we are listening to, when online. I was thinking why not to do it here as well. We all have our own favs in music or videos, how about showing others what we like. I have lots of music which I'd like to show You, and many of those songs are available on youtube for example. Just give us a link and a name of the performer/song- So, join me, here goes... Deep Purple - Anthem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAsGTkksHB4Cheers! Harppa

Dr Hook and the Medicine Show. Freakin' at the Freaker's Ball. Probably not a family song but I think it's hilarious. I don't know how to put a link up with my phone but I'd probably get in trouble. Listen to Sylvia's Mother and The Ballad of Lucy Jordan too. Well, I think everything by Dr Hook is good you decide.

I have fought many a battle with depression over the last 10 years. In that time I have found a couple of things that help. The music I listened to in the worst of those dark days tended to be incredibly depressing for anyone else to listen to. My wife absolutely hated it, but eventually somehow it made me realize that I had much to live for and little to be depressed about. The "Irish Descendants" was my favorite in those dark days, and "Barrett's Privateers" was heard daily. The next time you are having a bad day/week/month/year you might give them a try. http://www.wtv-zone.com/phyrst/audio/nfld/01/privateers.htm The other artist that really helped lift the darkness was Nanci Griffith. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9lUG4gBjSEThis is my favorite of her's, and it does carry a strong message. The last thing that kept me getting up every morning, kept me learning to adapt, to find things to enjoy was of course you Mongrels. That debt can never be repaid in full. After all what is a life worth? I know for a fact that I would not be here if it weren't for you guys. But I do my best to keep repaying the interest on that debt. Love you guys!

Then some swedish. You may have heard this before, it was quite popular here in Scandinavia in 90's There's a sort of medieval tone in this song, maybe that'as why I like it so much Nordman - Vandraren (Wanderer) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9GGjEJEf9Q&feature=relatedCheers! Harppa
