Other than on squad nights when I had a distinct task to perform I've never really bothered with taking bases.  It looks like the AVA may be doing some base taking stuff in the near future and I need to educate myself. 

A) Okay take the ack down.
B) Destroy at least 50% of the town, all the hangars, then run 10 troops into the map room
C) What am I missing?

Any advice or plans for going after one?

when the town raises the white flag it means it's ready for capture, it's new with the update Mal thumbsup, I like the idea.

With the new capture model, I'd love to try taking a high alt formation of 4 engine buffs ( squad strength ) and carpet bomb the town area  and see if it's capturable in a single pass.
