Ya that was a tough one.

Whoever planned the attack had his Einstein hat on last night.

OSU and I went a scouting and were at 25K when the first contact over the field was called.  We bustered back and dove in.  I tried, as best I could, to keep the trailers interested in me while OSU dealt with the first threat and interested they were for, about 25 to 30 seconds (Sorry O).  A side note on this.  OSU it's a pleasure winging with you.  You are precise, concise, and your intentions are clear.  Once I figure out how to keep my right foot off of my rudder and learn to aim at something we might make a decent team. Wink

Doing my thing this am I noticed that the BigRat downed a couple of buffs and got five kills.  Nicely done.  Daddog, as usual, slaughtered his fair share and knocked down five.  All in all, considering we got a bit outfoxed, I think as usual the Mongrels gave as well as we got or a little better.

Couple of screens

Climbing to 25

This NOT going to end well

Yes they had a good strike plan.  they ran a pair of G2's over the base at about 17k, turned once and dove out south.  Trying to drag us out of position obviously, Blue flight briefly chased until we saw they were running and I called blue flight back, no sooner did I make the regroup call and Rayl heard bombs dropping over the base.  Blue flight dove in and engaged.  There was so much red down there at first it took me a bit to find a window where I could drop behind one of the 110's without pulling in front of a 190. I still don't know how Rayl managed to land his spit in the middle of that dontknow From that point it was simply a low level furball, which worked more in our favor vs a higher alt engagment with faster planes.  But the odds were obviously stacked against us by sheer numbers. I tried to pick on the 110's as much as possible, figured they were worth the most and could do the most damage to the base, plus bigger target laugh.  Most of the time around the base I was dodging red guys and would see the occasional friendly flash by, but that was for about every 3-4 red guys I saw.  I got a little too intent on my second 110 and somebody removed one of my elevators BangHead. Shot up a few more planes, was down to the BB's, and then somebody waxed me pretty good angel10, it was very intense in there, which was great fun thumbsup

Hahaha, thanks Dicho! I only managed to get one kill. I must have made a beautiful lead shot with my cannons, cause I didn't see the guy go down at all. I'll bet we could become the deadliest wingmen in this squad, we just have to work on not getting shot down.

Gee, Thanks Dad! Looks like they were lining up on me!  Shocked

As usual, I had a good time again, until I got a little too low and plowed my own grave! I scared a couple away from other Dogs before I died (even got some splashes on one), but true to form I died trying  Roll Eyes.
