Kansas, MajQBall, Malap, And Rayl, are currently the 'guests' of our enemies.  'The Crew' and I are currently planning a covert mission to rescue them or, at the very least, have Dominoes deliver pizzas and wings so they don't have to eat anything that has 'sauer' in the name.

Thanks To ErwinNH for joining us last night.  Hope you enjoyed your evening.

Notables:
Drone 1 kill, 2 assists, 2 objects destroyed, and a landing.  Nicely done sir.

Great writeup, Dicho!

Thanks to Kansas for directing the bombers, and many thanks to the escorts for getting us to the target and out of there.  Great job, guys!

I do so love those bomber missions.  occasion14

Well if we had a bonehead award I'd put myself in for it.  I bailed from my airpeedo and got so engrossed with
the vox and buffer I forgot to open my chute.  I realized my error just in time to think 'oh n'

Nice Dicho. Smiley

Never got close enough to hook up with you guys after my keyboard locked up. Had to reboot then it was fine, but I was a good 10 minutes behind you guys.
Had a nice drop. Only a single 109 bothered me, but that was 'before' MajQBall joined me as a gunner. After that all was quiet despite my flying very near the enemy base on the way home.

No worries Malap... You were an excellent flight lead and I would fly under your
lead or be your wing anytime sir !.. <S>....

I must admit.. I had a stinkin' blast last night.. Was one of those that when I was
finished my shirt was wet, my muscles twitching and my eyes were burning..  thumbsup !

I chased a 109 too far from the group. ( mistake I know and I apologize to the bomber flight )
By the time I realized my error and un-target fixated.. The one tuned to engage and I saw another
comming in to help.. I keyed Vent " I'm in trouble guys" .. but quickly remembered that the other Spits
needed to stay on the bombers so I am alone to deal with my error.. and rightly so !.. I'm thinking about
changing my handle to "Dorkdog"... LOL.... So... time to put up the best fight I could with what I had
so as to hopefully at least distract these two from getting back to the bombers for as long as possible..

I have been training with BigRat an hour a week for the last several weeks... I took a deep breath
started concentrating on my angles and skills BigRat has been drilling into me and gave it a go. I rolled with
the two 109's for what seemd like an hour... trading snapshots here and there.. then I saw a flash of blue icon
and ASAdog had arrived to help !! Thank you ASA !!... He clearded one of them off me and while he rolled with that one it allowed me to focus on just the other and I sawed it's wing off perfectly.. What a rush !! Unfortunately I
couldn't get back over to ASA to help in time and he bravely went down in my defense.. This is when I
noticed now two more 109's comming in.. Great.. three on one and now I'm missing part of my tail as well..
I rolled with two of the three 109's for several more minutes until finally my plane was pinged enough she wouldn't turn. I bailed but couldn't get the chute opened in time before water impact.. If my gunnery was better I feel sure
I could have had one maybe two more kills.. Man what fun !.. Thanks to BigRat, ASA, and all the Mongrels for all
your help, advice and for allowing me to be apart of the best squad in AHII.. BIG.. <S> to all..

Sorry for the long AAR.. just had to share.... BigB..

I had fun even though I didn't hit anything. WTG guys on hitting all the hangers!
The escorts did all they could, a big salute goes out to them.    icon_salut

Was surprised I ended up with two kills, but I was very busy shooting at all the AK's on me.
One that I killed was still trying to kill me when I went to my bombsight for at 3 second calibration.
Looks like my bombs came up short on the film. Here are a few pics.

The dogs looked good, nice and tight before the AK's hit us.

AKDogg made the first pass on me and set my wing on fire. Did manage a few hits on him Smiley

Down to 2 planes and another AK kills me, but I got him also  Smiley

Down to 1 plane and 1 engine. Part of Dicho goes by as the last AK to attack me swoops in.

Fighter hanger lined up.

Bombs away with 109 still trying to kill me.

AKQwik dead stick landing among Ghost's and Drones bombs hitting the Bomber hangers

As always, it was a fun night for me. I may die often when I up a plane, but I die for the Dogs – the best group of guys to fly with.

My pleasure to assist you BigB, and thanks for the kind word. As l was trying to catch up to a higher up enemy, I looked down and saw that you had two on you, so I left my pursuit and rolled down to assist you; better that I help out a Dog than to try to get my own kill. My position stunk as I came in, but I was able to redirect that one enemy’s attention away from you. Unfortunately I allowed myself to get too far away from you and couldn’t handle him myself.

I had ErwinNH with me as my wing man as we launched. Glad to have him there. I lost him once we engaged. Sorry about that, and hope I didn't confuse him too much.

Peace,

Sorry I couldn't make it guys.  Believe me I wanted to.  Big B, well it looks like all that defensive training is starting to pay off, along with all the rolling scissors I force you to do with me thumbsup  Dealing with multiple bogies is always tough, if you can hold two off for long enough for help to arrive, is a victory in itself.
