Anyone have any experience with Stag Arms.  Left handed AR which is very nice for this southpaw.  I really like the Sig also.  The price is right on this though and the reviews look good.

No personal experience with this one, but I haven't heard any negatives on it. STAG Arms makes parts for some of the other AR 15 based rifle companies, so there must be some trust and quality in them.

No personal experience with them, but I wouldn't be afraid of them by any means.  The AR market out there is so huge that it bogles the mind once you start doing some research.  Most of the major brand AR's are all of good quality, and depending on features go from 800-3000 for civilian models.  I like my Sig a lot, but it's toward the pricier side of civilian AR's.  I've heard mostly good things about The Ruger 556 as well, don't know about left handed models though.  But before you buy, go out and handle the merchandise.  Some definitly have a better quality feel to them then others.  My sig felt just as solid as the Barret Rec7, but cost quite a bit less. I'd hate to see what that 6.8mm ammo for the Rec cost anyway Grin.  I just looked at the 8L, I see it's also a piston gun.  I was at first trying to figure out while the 2L was cheaper then the 8L, with the 2L having a quad rail.  Then I saw the 8L was piston and then it made sense.
