Blue skying here for mid to late next year but does anybody know anything about this?  I can see it could be great eye candy but wouldn't necessarily improve game performance.  As interesting as the AH eye candy is to me (and it is very interesting) can you run three seperate windows on it when not in game mode?  EG.. 1 is tv or movie and the other two internet, email, etc,...?

Yes you can.
E-mail one screen. Youtube another, and what ever else you want on a 3rd.
If I could afford it I would have a setup like that. Smiley

I saw some setups at the Con I'm going to try to get drawings together for my shop and see what the cost to build per unit would be (special discount for Mongrels that want them of course).  Seeing them completely changed my plans for redoing my man cave next summer.  I want to hang the monster TV up on the wall, toss a desk and do a sim pit in it's place.  When I get started I'll post  updates here.  Drone I'll take all the pictures of those pits you can scare up if you don't mind sir.

I run a second monitor all the time now.

Skype lives over there, as does Vent. So if someone is talking on vent I can see who.
Plus its nice to just open up the map or mission orders, put it over there, then can quickly review it if needed.

I do the same thing Ghost.. I also run the lappie on the mission orders just in case Cheesy

All of that said some collaboration on a sim pit set up made out of angle iron like Notches or square tubing could be useful considering I have a boatload of both in my scrap pile at the office and the shop is always looking for work these days Cheesy

1" square tubing is what I'd start with unless you have access to aluminum and welder.

We talked some about the pits on the way home. Instead of a car seat I really think a captains chair out of a custom van or RV would make a better setup. Locks in forward view, pivots for easy in and out, and the good ones adjust vertically with air cushion.
