Hey,

Just got discharged from the hospital today. Was treated for Congestive Heart Failure, No it didn't completely stop, it just wasn't pumping correctly. After more than a month of feet and leg swelling, extreme joint pain and muscle weakness that' s what I was diagnosed with. They did an arteriogram and I didn't have a heart attack but I do have a little blockage in a side branch of a vein that will be treated with medicine. I have been cleared to go back to work on Monday. So, basically I have probably spent 30k on a hospital stay and all I did was pee alot from the diuretics they gave me. But at least I'm feeling better.

Ouch!

Can be treated in most cases with the right medicine, good diet and exercise.
Looks like your going to have to start taking better care of yourself flushed!

Glad to hear your feeling better and on the mend, just need to get that artery "flushed" and it sounds like you'll be right as rain.  Thank God it can be done with medication and no surgery needed.  Take care buddy and I'll see you in the virtual skies!   occasion14

I'm ok. That sinus infection I had caused all this believe it or not. It turned out to be strep throat and  I didn't go to the doctor. He says it turned into rheumatic fever. I'm still really stiff and a little weak but I'm getting stronger and actually eating. While I was sick I lost around 40 pounds down from 220 to 180. The Lasix I take now keeps me going to the bathroom pretty regularly and keeps the water off. The doctor said with exercise my heart should get back beating to get me off those pills in 6 months to a year. I actually kept working for a month while sick but I never really felt like I had a high fever just severe joint pain and the swelling in my legs. I'm back at work now I feel lighter but still a little stiff I guess I just have to work it out.

P.S. If you feel like you have a sinus infection get to the doctor. probably save you some money in the long run. I'm supposed to be home on 11/3 I'll try to get on for FSO on 11/5.
