I'm using Game Booster. I've been happy with it so far, easy to use.

Cheers!

daddog,

I use Game Booster as well and it has been rock solid for me.  I can't compare it to anything else as it's the only program I have used and best of all, it's free!

Glary Utilities is a great free program to help clean up your computer.

Free download, install it, then under "1 click maintance" check the 6 boxes then click the Scan for issues button.

That alone will make a huge difference for most people.
For those wanting to take control of their systems, go on to "Modules" under Optimize and Improve, click Start UP manager. This will let you take control of what programs start when windows starts.  You will find many things in there that are really not needed.  The really cool part is that Glary Utilities has a "google it" function if you don't know what something is, click that. It will tell you exactly what it is, and in many cases if you need it to run or not.

It has the same thing for its process manager. Which really helps to start understanding what processes are running and why. It also can "block" processes. Overall much easier to use than msconfig or similar.

Game booster really helps and is easy to use Geo.

Have not tried Glary much yet, but looks just as good.
