One of the problems I have always had with SimRacing is brake pedal feel. Sim-Pedals seem to always be too soft and too much travel. A brake pedal should be all about pressure and not travel distance.

What I did was put a Racketball under the pedal (Had to trim it some) with some tape to hold in place, then recalibrated the brakes… and Bam!!! It feel just like a  real brake pedal.

You know Teedog, i have wondered about that, i thought maybe they used some sort of force feedback. As you say its all about the feel of the pressure on the pedal (A huge criticism of Merc's brake by wire system all the car magazines hated) Lack of feel in the controls has put me off driving sims in the past, plus they can't simulate the other forces and feel that is experienced in a real car. Top Gear (a British car show on BBC America) tested this theory by doing laps of Laguna Seca (or whatever it's called today) in an Acura NSX on Gran Turismo, then took a real NSX round the track and could never replicate the lap times. He found the corkscrew to be particularly challenging to take at the same speeds as on the game LOL.
On a similar note do any pedal setup's have a clutch pedal, and how do they replicate that?

Well, after shopping for the MoMo wheel and pedals I couldn't find it and Logitech wouldn't sell me one directly I bought the more expensive G27 wheel. The brake fells the same as it does in my own personal vehicle. It is somewhat easier to lock the brakes with it but it has near the same feel to it. It does have a clutch and is near, not quite, the same as my 5 speed suzuki.

The force feedback on the wheel is great on iRacing. I have driven Laguna Seca for real and have driven it on iRacing, and it's very similar.... Almost scary similar. Of course you don't have the feel of your pants feel, but your thumbs are also important and when you do get loose and the bumps are in the right spot... ... the wheel does go light in your hands with the force feedback. iRacing spends $100,000 to Lazar scan each tracks. Basically iRacing is a simulator, Gran Turismo is a game.

They do have great wheel systems and Flashes G27 is one of the best... Some people still use the Racketball on their G27 as well.. that is were I got the idea. But they do have some great pedal systems as well....

I will some day in the future get one of these pedals…

Okay, I'm going to get these pedals instead of the onces I showed you.. they don't cost as much and they got a good rating and you can make all kinds of adjustments.

Good idea T.  You might be able to sell the idea to Toyota.   toothy9
