Okay, It's a pretty cool game. It's great because everyone is very professional when they race or at least try to be. I'm going to be setting up my own IRacing Team. If anyone intrested.... let me know.

Well I've got some good news, my logitech driving force wheel works on my PC! So that's a bonus, I wish iracing had a free download and 2 week trial like AH.
I've got to look at the finances and see if this will workout but it looks very cool.

Yeah, just keep working at it... then maybe start racing this weekend. What type of racing are you doing?? Oval or Road Racing?
Maybe we can join a race together tomorrow. Get on Ventrillo and help you out some.

That would be good, also need to mod my simpit for the wheel to fit back in it.
I was just starting out with the spec Ford at Limerock since it's a track I'm familiar with. I don't think my breaks are setup properly it seems really squirly even just breaking in a straight line.

Thanks it is a lot of fun. BigRat, I KNOW you're going to want to try this! BTW Teedog the tree straight behind the car on the hill is where I'd sit for the races, they have them exactly in the right spots!

Yes, not only Pro racers, but a lot of club racers and local track racers.
As for the Pro's Dale Earnhardt, Jr, Marcos Ambrose, Bobby Labonte and Brad Keselowski are the main pros... but Alex Gurney, Justin Wilson, AJ Allmendinger, Colin Braun, Danica Patrick and others as well.
As from a driving point a view... it's very close to real racing, The cars do what they are supposed to do. The track's seem to be right on. I think it's a valuable tool for any race car driver....and fun for everyone.

Teedog, Check out my road racing stats now! That's right 3.60!!!!!!!!!!!!! Started in 9th place and finish in 3rd with only 1 incident, gave me a .53 on my safety rating. Man I was dodging people left and right the whole race. I think only the winner and I were in our original cars we started with. So now I'm eligible for the SCCA Spec Ford, I just had to by the track (I couldn't wait till next Tuesday LOL). Here's the new Spec Ford with my rookie Solstice below.

Wow, That is great Baumer. I have never seen anyone get a .53 iRating in a race before. It seems like you can more points in Road Racing. I need to jump up to 3.0 by next week. Also, Laguna Seca is next race this week. I did some testing yesterday and it looks sooo much like the real thing. It even has that tree you need to line up for the corkscrew Teeerex would love it.. I need to find out how we can post video from the races.

I signed up for it. I could find only 1 Ford in there so I'll drive it for a while. Maybe I'll try to find a race this afternoon. It was a lengthy download for me last night. It seems they are using my real name it is William Mount, lol, I never use my first name but I guess they are

No my friends call me Glenn my middle name. I went to a practice session in the legends car at south boston speed way and I can't even keep up in practice. I am now reading a lengthy explanation of set ups and practicing. I found out you can load a predetermined setup for each track. I would always spin the car on exiting the turns.
I have a 2.51 rating with a couple spins and one guy clipped me in practice. seems everyone is nice and friendly 2 guys clipped my slow car and apologized which i thought it was my fault since i was so slow. now testing this loaded setup

There will be more Ford's coming. Ford worked a deal with iRacing. I know for sure Mustang Challenge Series will be on soon. I'm sure you'll also see NASCAR Ford's as well.
Welcome aboard Flushed. I also go by my Middle Name (Ted)... but I'm listed under my first name as John. We might need to start a Mongrel Racing Team.
Glenn I added you on my friends list on iRacing as well. I'm under John Severns

Just be sure to log into Ventrilo and go to the "other games" channel. That way we can find each other when we're on.

Hey guys I checked out the website the Sim looks interesting. The site talks about getting your licence and that you are entitled to seven track and two cars. It also talks about buying cars and tracks is this with money or point you earn by racing. The website does not say how much the additional cost will be for the tracks and cars. I hope one of you can enlighten me. Thanks, MajQBall
