Several of you when talking about manning the guns on bombers have heard me say.
"wait till they are 600 out, then hit em hard"

Well I just ran across an very interesting piece of work by Lusche (Snailman)

If you look at the image, the spread at 600 makes 3 discernible groups.
As the range closes to 500 (which is hard coded convergience for bomber guns, can't be changed)
You see the streams flow into a single blob. At 400 they are spreading into 3 groups again.

Which means for our purposes, if an attacker is closing on your 6, you fire at 600 and keep firing till 400.
In the middle he's not only going to be running into the bullets from your guns, but from the formations guns also.

In effect, you have him in a crossfire, getting hit with 3x as many rounds.

Now the flip side of this is, stay OUT of that death zone, 400 - 600 behind a bomber.
If your attacking an bomber. Slashing side attacks, or scissors moves to keep jinking until your closer than 400.
Then shoot. Chances are he can only hit you with 1 set of guns at a time instead of 3.
