I have a brand new desk top PC at home, so I won't be flying on the comp at work (after duty hours) anymore.

I've contacted HTC for info, but any help, hints or tricks from you folks on how I download (again) AHII onto the new comp would be appreciated.

Thanks,  icon_salut

ASA,  on the AH home page, there are 5 headings across the top.  You want to place your mouse on "downloads" then a small window will pop up, click "game"   Save it to your desktop and it will start to download.  Once finished, click on the icon on the desktop and run the game.   It will ask some questions, pretty straight forward really, let it load to the default location, and after a few minutes, BOOM!  Your ready to go, repeat the same process, only this time you want to download the "hi-res textures" pack.  It is on the same window as the game download, in the upper left corner, under the "downloads index" header.

It really is pretty straight forward, and easy,  oh, what operating system do you have?  If it is Vista, you may have to run the downloads as "administer"

When you get everything setup so your happy with it remember to backup your AH settings folder.

It will save you time and effort.

Put it on a Flash drive, burn it to CD/DVD, send it across the network to a 2nd computer, any or all of the above .

You can use the settings folder on the work computer to start you off at home if you follow Ghosth's directions.
