Nov 29th, 6 PM Eastern.
See Robert Shaw's book Fighter Combat page 207.

We will stay in the DA and just work with our wingman in the furball area of the DA.

Ok dad on the same day you posted 4 posts.

They don't tell me what squad night your talking about.
They don't give me a time.

And personally I won't fly in the furball area in the DA.

Sorry, too much slime.

I don't see that as being constructive in any way.
Call me grumpy I guess.

Jeeze. Sorry bud.
Was in a hurry when I posted them up. They are on our calendar. I will attach dates to all the posts later.

Just trying to put in some training that seemed to be the desire of those that posted. Not a trainer here. Not even a great stick and I have about 'zero' help doing all this squad stuff.

If your not going to fly in the DA furball that is fine. Can't make anyone do that.

I must admit Daddog, the furball area of the DA is probably not the best place to practice, unless we are practicing how to avoid the hoard and the picking hogs/fw190's. It is guaranteed someone will interfere in some way. Anytime i get into a fun fight it is always ruined by someone screeming in and killing me or my adversary  BangHead

The AvA maybe?    Granted there is a limited planeset, but for the wingman tactics training are the planes that important?   We could splitup or possibly get a few outside pilots to fly against or act as bait.  Another possibility might be using an corner of the map in MW, or other arena.

Personally I like to practice in an arena where the bullets are real, so that rules out the TA. The way I see it when a large squad like ours attempts to practice in any of the other arena’s there’s always the possibility we’ll attract some uninvited guests. Now it’s been a while since I’ve been in the DA but it used to be a decent place to practice provided you avoided furball lake. Maybe that’s no longer the case, I don’t know.

At the same time I’m excited to see that we’re putting much more emphasis on practicing these advanced wingman tactics as an alternative to the same old rinse and repeat style of game play found in the mains. It really motivates me to get back on a regular flying schedule again. I’m also glad to hear we’re open to giving the AvA a shot. Which brings me to one last point: The stark reality is that outside of the special events and training, several of the AH arenas have at least in part deservedly bad reputations as being unpleasant places to fly. In all my time in Warbirds, there was never an arena that had that kind of reputation. Sometimes it makes me wonder which is more important really good flight, damage models, etc., or an overall game culture that I can respect.

well, we went off to the side fields in the DA and were left alone except for one guy. He left when we told him what we were doing, probably should've recruited him. Anyway I'm one of those Slimeys in the DA Ghosth  laugh

LOL no flushed, I don't believe that.

Your one of the good guys trying to keep the slimeballs from taking over entirely.
