Guys I originally posted this for the trainers. As for years and years I had looked for an easier way than having to type http://trainers.hitechcreations.com without a mistake.  We are often busy flying just at the point that someone asks a question that is easily answered on the trainers site. So this little macro utility is blessing for some of us.

However it dawned on me, for some of you guys who do not type well. You could put together a series of hot keys letting you communicate much easier.

Now I know of of you guys probably have high end keyboards capable of doing maco's.
For me I'm stuck with what I've got laying around, which is mostly old ibm types made before 2001.

Well for years I've wished there was an easier way to tell someone to go to
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com

If I'm in a hurry my fingers get twisted up and I'll screw it up every time.

Well I finally figured it out.

http://www.autohotkey.com

Download, install (its small)
Follow tutorial here
http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/Tutorial.htm

Once you've done the trial run with the google.com
Try this instead,
" #space::send http://trainers.hitechcreations.com
#CapsLock::send Esc, arena message, Please read and follow rules "

 then Start AH, open preferred text channel, hit the macro combo (windows key and space)And HEY PRESTO!
 http://trainers.hitechcreations.com

Windows key and spacebar sends the trainers site, windows key and  capslock sends a rules location and reminder.

Granted with this you would have to have the script running in background before starting AH.
And you have to open and send radio in AH.

I Have not played with this that long. Less than a half hour at this point actually.

Anyway, its an easy enough way if your like me, sometimes having a hard time keeping up, or just get fumble fingered.  If you have  /  key mapped to stick, and you'd just need the macro key. And I suspect I'll figure out how to get it to "enter" send it, just havn't got there yet.

I have not worked to figure out how to make it open a text channel.  I do know that {enter} at the end of the script line will send it, closing the channel.

This is something of a test you might say. There is a discussion going on in the Trainers forum.
Delirium would share this with everyone. Imagine a 1 button macro for setting salvo, delay, etc.

I see this if it gets into the general population as being abused by people to flood the text buffer.

We already have people who when someone from Pigs on the wing squad lands a kill send

"Oink, oink, oink" to the text buffer.
Get 30 or 40 people doing it and it becomes irritating.
Get 30 or 30 people sending 10 lines each because they have it as a macro, and it becomes a real problem.

So I decided I'd turn it loose here and study the results. Smiley

Besides if I don't give you guys a bone now and then you all are liable to depose me and put Baumer in my place. Have you seen what he's doing with torp runs from PT boats?

Just started doing a bit of joystick testing.

Put this into a script

joy6::Send, testing{SPACE}one{SPACE}two{SPACE}three

and you get
testing one two three

He shared with me last night the torp runs. Cool stuff! I also really like the new PT Boat and how the torps look. Smiley

Neat stuff Ghosth!
