Hey Guy's,

I have rarely ever gotten discoed in the past but since the new release I have an increasing problem with disco's.  In fact 2 nights ago I discoed 3 times and just last night it happened 5 times in a couple of hours.  I'm not sure if the new version of the game has anything to do with it or if it's just coincidence that it's happening now.  Besides your internet connection, what else might cause this?  I have a broadband cable connection and am hard wired to my router.  Seems to happen more often that not either when I leave the tower or hanger for the runway or on take off.  Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Are you DSL or cable or maybe fios?

Cable is a "shared" connection whereas DSL is dedicated from your house to the Telecom's POP.  Cable connectivity can be impacted by those in your neighborhood.  Typically is shouldn't impact your connection, but if there is a lot of other people doing things, your connection could suffer.

I have had that happen a bit more also, but mine are not really 'discos', but that white screen crash others are reporting.

The only real answer is to get ping plotter or Visual Route and find out whats happening to the packets and where its happening.

Well, this can't be good!  How do I fix it?

Post a text version of that in the technical support at HTC and see if Skuzzy can talk with AT&T.  That's a problem on AT&T's network which HTC uses as one of its links to it site.  Based on names, those errors are all in dallas, inside AT&T's network.

The game servers are not the same as the www.hitechcreations.com address, but I forget where they are.

Start up AH, when you get to the arena select screen, click on the "ping details" box.
That will give you actual ip #'s for the arena's.  As a general rule please do NOT ping the mains, as they tend to get hit pretty hard anyway. Use the TA, DA, or SEA.

But I agree with Forhim, thats a problem close to HTC that they should be able to put pressure on.
