Rkan,

I have an older MB I am not using. It was sondogs for a couple years.
An ECS L4VXA2

It also has the CPU still attached. It was a 2.6 if I recall. Still has all the memory sticks he used. About a gig of memory. Just don’t remember for sure.

I also have a GeForce 6600GT Vid card to go with it.

Plus a power supply, 585 watts and finally an older sound card that worked fine last I used.

I know it will run Aces High. Will not be great, but will certainly be better than that Compaq you have now.

All you need will be a case, mouse, keyboard and monitor of course.



I will ship it out to you just say the word.

Wow DadDog,

That looks awesome, what would you need for it?  I should be able to scrape up a case with no problem and I already have the mouse and keyboard of course.  I'm going to be helping a buddy out part time after work for some extra cash so things are looking up.  Let me know.

FWIW I too have a couple of 512 sticks too. Free to a good dog house.

Daddog Maddog offered me his older box (just built new smoking system) but I declined as this one you guys built me is running strong. I asked him to post specs, or parts available but I see that hasn't happened yet. 

I suspect that if someone told him there was a needy dog around he'd ship the whole works.
But I have not seen him around to give him a nudge in the right direction.
