Not sure what happened, noticed it tonight. Terrain at hill tops is real bad, and cockpit windscreen framework is also bad. I have a GeForce 8500 GT card, and the NVIDIA control panel, problem is with Vista, I can't change many things due to some driver issues, at least from what I read anyways. I have DxDiag report, but it is too big to post here, along with the nvidia settings.

I'm just not sure what to do, think, or say, at this point. I'll take any ideas anybody has. This is really frustating, just seems as thought things have not been right since I downloaded the Beta !   Yes I know, that should have no real effect on AHII.

J you talking about regular AH or the Beta?

Sound like the Antialiasing was turned off. Find your control panel for your card and set the Antialiasing to 2x or 4x. Turn off the Anisotrophic setting.

AHII is where the problem seems worst, in Beta I set the AA slider just about a inch to the right, really looks good. FPS is only 30-35, but what the hey, it looks really good. Real issue is that it seems nvidia control panel will NOT let me change the AA setting, right now it is "application controlled" I can change it, but soon as I close control panel it reverts back to application controlled.

I'm not sure whats up with that one. I'm on my way right now to DL latest drivers, it may be a bad move, but right now my AHII looks............well like a big pile of..........you get the picture.

So it seems after reading a couple fourms, that the new drivers are NOT VERY GOOD! So I did not download them. So what I then did was to go into control panel and force AA to override @ 8X, minimized control panel, and started AHII, HOLY COW!  Talk about eye candy, I got my graphics back, but wait theres more.  So I log from the game, and close control panel. Reopen control panel, and it all reverted back to "application controlled"  oh no Sad  so I log on to AHII, and low and behold it still looks great!

So now I'm even MORE CONFUSED violent1 But ya know what, so long as it stays looking good, I'll take it.

Humm. Well, at least it is working now and since you can set it to app controlled and adjust it in the AH settings I guess your good to go. I think if it was not working I would uninstall the current drivers, restart the system, install the new drivers, restart and try it.

The latest drivers don't work so well with my old 6600GT card. The 70's.00 were what worked best for me J.
Here is their driver archive, but I don't see any for Vista.
