Ghosth,

I've been working with rkanjil on Tuesday nights at 9:00 central time in the hog.  I think we may have run into a hardware issue but not sure how to determine that's what's going on for sure or not.  He's having a real hard time holding a flat turn, it acts like it's getting rudder input but can not prove or disprove.  Can you help us out help

In the stick mapping area, does he see any jittery numbers for x,y or z axis when he's select the device he uses for rudder?

forHIM,

We looked at that but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Didn't spend a whole lot of time with it that night though since it was getting late by the time we noticed a problem.  It's almost like a cross talk problem with the stick.

BigRat,

Which stick does he have? You should be able to go F3 in the hanger, and he could watch his inputs on the clip board and watch the rudder @ the same time. Or maybe he can film then zoom in while watching?  Just a thought. I have noticed lately I am getting some odd inputs from my stick as well, go to roll and there are rudder elevator inputs being generated, and vice versa. I can even see it on the clipboard when I'm calibrating. Tried more dead band, and it does help but then I have to put more throw into my stick and it just screws me up worse. Some days its worse than others it seems, even some planes are worse then others. I just work around it, best I can.

Hope ya get it worked out, good luck  icon_salut

BigRat I have an extra CH Combat stick that is USB. Works fine. If nothing else I can send it to him and he can try that to see if is solves the problem.
Have him post in here if he wants me to. If he does not use it he can just send it back.

Esc, controls, map controllers, highlight rudder, click advanced.

When he moves rudder pedals or twisty it should show in the raw/scaled window.
He may have to scale his input up or down depending on what its doing.

Also, as a general rule, make sure rudders are working correctly and calibrated in windows first. Then calibrate again in AH. Then test in hanger/runway.

Been having a few issues of my own to deal with, that along with a real bad day yesterday has left me a bit out of touch. Sorry about that. Nothing permanent or serious, but I think I slept over 6 hours during the day yesterday in a string of naps. Then slept another 7 hours last night. Dunno whats going on, but I've learned when it does that to just give up and go along with it. Less painfull for me in the long run.

I do have a backup system up and running, reading the boards, etc, but don't have mail setup here.
I may have just figured out what I did wrong yesterday, might have missed one set of motherboard drivers.
Which would explain why I couldn't get sound working.

Crossing fingers.

It's a brand of Joysticks, like Saitek, ThrustMaster, etc.  TH used to be a fairly standard stick, I still believe it is, however I've stuck with the Saitek stuff once my joysticks moved beyond just the stick to stick and throttle.
