This might be a question that forHIM can only answer since he is the Joomla expert. Smiley.

I have noticed ever since I bought my wide screen monitor several months ago I have a ton of dead space to the left and right of my screen when I am viewing our home page forum.

Anyone have any idea how I can get rid of that and expand what I want to view, (our forums). Often now when someone uploads a picture I have to scroll left and right to view the whole thing. That was never an issue with my old CRT monitor.

Are you going to the forums directly, or via the website? if i go direct to the forums i get them fullscreen, if i go from the website i get the same view as you do daddog.

The Joomla wewbsite is setup for fixed width versus fluid width.  This allows me to keep things lined up properly in the left and right columns.  Malap is correct that if you go to http://332nd.org/forum/  the forums will appear in fluid versus the fixed in joomla.  It was/is a design choice when creating/implementing the Joomla template.
