I found out how to run this card at max AA and AS and keeping the buffer font perfect and reable. Here is how. Go into your DX settings and crank it all up except vericalsynch.
Next you need to download the "Rage 3D Tweaker 3.8  here is the url.    http://www.rage3d.com/r3dtweak/

go ahead and install that program. It is a urility giving you acess to everything this fancy card can do.

Next you will need "The Ultimate Raedon Tweaking Guide"  a simple pdf file with step by step instructions on how to setup the Rage 3D Tweaker 3.8
here is the url    http://www.innercite.com/~sunking/Ultimate...ing%20Guide.pdf

Open that and give it a read. Follow all the Direct x setting options .

After you have done that go into display properites once again and make suer your AA and AS settings are not reset to application preference ,rather all the way up.

next load Aces High and see that buffer clear amd your graphics sharp.

I don't know which, but one of those options the guide tells you to enable cleaned that buffer right up for me.

Will this work for an ATI Radeon 8500?

I have a problem with this card in that it thinks it is hooked up to a TV as well as my monitor.  I have to go in and uncheck it every time I turn it on or the screen flicker gives me an instand headache.

Go into display options and then advanced. You should see a tab for displays. There you can change the options on your monitor resolution and the tv. If you toggle these settings you should get the card to render on both devices without having to uncheck one.
