We did pretty well considering the enemy opposition. 10 Kills and 12 Assists! I've written an AAR using an old OPNAV form I found on-line; http://332nd.org/dogs/baumer/AARs-OPNAV/Jan09/23Jan09.htmAnd I posted a few screen shots as well; Baumer

Very cool AAR Baumer and nice screenies too. I'd say frame two was a real meat grinder for both sides in our combat area. To me, this has become a "war" of attrition and really illustrates the point that in RL the side which had the resources to absorb and replace these kinds of losses would eventually prevail.

LOL love AA report, and I didn't know my 6 looked that good!
Poor forhim, I kept hosing SBD;s that I could get close to, and continuing on. I'm sure Forhim would have had 4 kills, but he kept finishing those that I'd already gotten good hits on.
Sorry about that Mr Forhim
Considering how many SBD;s there were, and how few of us, we did an amazing job.
<S>
After going back and reviewing my film. When I said I see 4 or maybe 6 p38's, there were another 6 my high 3 that I did NOT see. Plus 3 p39's, and half a dozen B25's. From the point where Forhim and Baumer engaged that low p38 we were doomed. There was never a chance to break off and get closer to the CV.
But we gave it all we had, just didn't have much left to give them at that point.
All in all a very fun frame.

 Ghosth, I was so close to a Nipping Nifty on that one! My favorite screen shot was the last one. An SBD tail gunner go the first two fuel tanks leaking. When we went into the low P-38's and P-39's I was rolling with two of them and a P-39 got me with a few pings and got the last tank leaking, I was out of fuel in 30 - 45 seconds. I am completely surprised that I wasn't on fire, but the three vapor contrails look kinda nice!

 No problem. Thanks for dealing with it. Very nice screen shots. I went to look at my film and I accidenently deleted all my action film from that night. Remember gents, if you hit 'enter' to save your film (if your in a hurry) it does not work.

Thanks forHIM but I have already deleted it. Robert seems like a nice guy I've already traded a cople of emails with him. He's a retied Marine Master Sgt who actually served with VMB-613. VMB-613 was the only Marine combat squadron equipped with the PBJ-1H (B-25H). I'll post more a little later....
