Well if things go right, I might be buying a new Race Car. It's a 2005 Spec Focus. It has the bigger 2.3L Duratec Motor compared to the 2.0L Spec Focus I have been racing. So it has less Horsepower, but more Torque!!! thumbsup

thumbsup, one thing strikes my odd though.  Seeing that this thing is stripped down to the essentials.  Why is there still a washer fluid bottle in the car Huh One other question while I'm thinking about it, do you still have to run with the emmissions components intact? or do you just toss them and either remove the check engine light bulb or run an aftermarket pcm.

Yeah, and it's not fully gutted yet. It about 50lbs overweight, so I have more to do. Also, that's not the washer fluid bottle you see, it's the Radiator overflow catch can. We can only water on the track, radiator fluid is not good on the track, it's worst then oil  nono We can use an additive called Wetter Water made by Redline that make pure water cool better and it also lubes the Water pump and etc, that is why it looks pink like washer fluid.

No we don't have to remove the emmissions components, but most do....except this car still has it because he use to drive the car to the track, I will be removing it when I get the car. We run a stock ECU unit but we can re-flash the ECU with a remote Flasher for tuning, remove the check engine light for emmissions and etc. I normally have 5 different tunes stored in my remote flasher so I can make slight changes at the track if I need too.

Got ya Teedog, always wondered about that emmissions stuff in some of these spec classes of racing.  actually I was looking at the yellow cap that's just about touching the bottom of the hood prop on the right fender lip, right of the overflow tank (left in picture, right of car).  If that's not the washer fluid bottle cap I need to find a new line of work laughing1

1 of the F1 teams got busted doing that afew years ago. I kid,of course Tee toothy9

would of though a little washer fluid would come in handy when the car infront blows a head gasket.

Oh Gotcha. I forgot they moved the Washer Fluid bottle in 2005 Focus to the other side  BangHead It's really hard to take out of the focus, but I'm sure it's empty.
