Xbox vs PS3

 title says it all,whats your choice and why?

 also considering WII but.... wondering if these old bones can handle all the jumping around.


 My wife thinks she wants a game console but we're unsure which 1 to pick.I like PS3,blueray ect.
 We heard sony was planning on charging a fee for the online service like Xbox does,is this true?

 I have done some research but I'm getting mixed reviews,add to that the stores tell you"what you want to hear".So I'm at a loss on this,any feedback would help alot..... TIA

Xbox. Any game that is multi system and multiplayer get it on the XBOX.

Their network is smoother.. and there are more players on XBOX.

For example. Call Of Duty Wolrd at War has maybe 50k on PS3 network at primetime.  XBOX has 160k anyday of the week, more on the weekends.

WII wasn't much of a step up from their previous system. The games don't compare. It's considered a party console or for children.


Both systems have a market where you can pay to download game content and movies , netflicks.

I heard that Sony has sold the rights to MS to start putting a BlueRay player in their consoles.

MS has also bought the rights to a couple of Sonys exclusive title series.  The fighting game Tekken 6 is coming to xBOX now and the popular Metal Gear Solid game is rumored to hit XBOX in 2009.

That's gotta mean something about the state of Sony PS3 sales.
