Wow Beginners luck on my part. I know I got some good rounds on the underside of the B-24. It's been a long time since I have flown and a little rusty. I more rusty at the gunning skills more then the flying skills.

But, I was fun. It's always nice to fly with the Mongrels.

Was fun. I blew my first pass on the B-24's. Should have bagged one of those. Then I could not get to them again. P-38's escorting did a good job. Had to break off 3 times. Finally a P-38 persisted and would not get off my 6 so it was time to give up on the bombers. I did a barrel roll and got him to over shoot. At that point he was the hunted and we took it to the deck. He was a pretty fair stick, but I could tell he did not know the 38 like I did. After about 2 minutes of yo yo's, Immelmann's, scissors, I got in a good burst and he was smoking out of his right engine and leaking fuel. He almost got me to over shoot moments later, but I climbed and rolled over watching him start to dive away. He ran out of air and had to level out. I finished him with a good burst as he started some more evasions. The 2nd 38 was one that was low and straffing the field. He never had much of a chance.
