I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. I enjoyed leading the group and I'll work on my tour guide skills for the next 2 hour cruise!

-went down soon after dropping my eggs, but that's OK Smiley I had to leave anyway to take my lady to the airport.
I didn't hit a thing, but GOD how nice it was with you all for a loong time !!

I'd say we gave as good as we got, and maybe a bit better.

Granted we lost 7 pilots, but we did sink their carrier. Couldn't tell if we got the cruiser also or not.

Great plan Baumer and a great job of putting it into play. <S>

It is a huge help to me when I don't have the time due to real life) when I can just hand things off to you guys and someone runs with it. You did a fine job Baumer!  icon_salut

My 1000lb bomb hit he cruiser. I was lined up on the CV, but a zeke got on my tail. I stepened my dive then rolled away. He broke off due to compression which is what I wanted. By then I was out of position and had to switch targets to the cruiser. Put my large egg right on the super structure. = toothy9 Pulled out of my dive with just a couple hundred feet to spare. Too close for my liking as I was blacking out pulling so many G's. For a moment there I thought I was going to take up scuba diving lessons. Pulled out of my dive and quickly closed on a zeke who was one one of you. Don't remember who. Shot him up and then ran north with about 4 others. Several of us engaged an equal number of zekes. Each side traded punches taking out aircraft one at a time. Finally it was 2 vs 2 and then another zeke went down. Vaderr was my gunner and a big help. He and I downed a zeke. Smiley I chased the last one, but could not get close enough for the killing blow. By the time he pulled away he was leaking fuel out of both wings and very shot up. If I only had WEP.  icon_biggrin No idea what happened to him. Rallied with Baumer and others NE of the CV. About 2/3 of the way to Midway I lost UDP. Sad Darn. Was a fun frame nonetheless. Smiley
