To make a long story short.  The carberator on my 69's 468 was simply bolted on and drove, I never tuned it and it ran very well.  But I always wondered what kind of performance it left on the table.  So knowing I was going to be on vacation to go to the cona nd visit my dad and step-mom, I dropped it off a week and a half ago at Steigemeier performance.  I just gave them a call to check on it and they said it was done but took quite a bit of work.  Evidently spending a lot of time on the dyno.  This is yet to be determined whether this is good or bad yet.  Well we know it's bad on my checkbook but I expected that.  Will post the findings once I get back from talking with them, and I will hopefully pick her up this weekend to see how she runs now.

Good luck with that! I hope it's not too bad a hit, hopefully they didn't need to get a different carb or anything.

You wanted it to run on 110LL right?Huh?    Grin

Well Darn it BangHead, I just wrote a long post of the results and it somehow isn't showing up icon_scratch

Well let me start over then.  The rear wheel numbers (the ones that really count), eg. the actual power to the pavement are 355.9hp and 438.2 ft/lbs of torque.  Better then I was hoping for icon_biggrin My goal was 350hp at the rear wheels.  This computes through drivetrain losses (the numbers the owner gave me) at 430hp/500 ft lbs at the flywheel in net numbers. Net numbers meaning at the flywheel with engine accessories installed, eg. 405 hp, for a 03 Z06 vette. Don't ask me how they compute that since I couldn't get the numbers to work.  their the professionals so I'll take their word on it grin  Well Baumer they didn't have to put a new carb on it but it does have a new main body, so about 25% of it is new.  It also still runs on 93 octane. I'll see about printing up some of the dyno sheets later tonight.

Well couldn't get the dyno sheets to upload, says they are too big mblah05 mblah05 merror angry9.  I've tried to make them small enough but failed BangHead, so if someone wants to try and make them smaller let me know.
