Squad Status Poll

Guys, I feel our squad is at a stalemate or at a cross roads. I have been through this before with our WWIIOL squad back in 2003.

I want to do the right thing and I need your guys idea. I know I haven’t been the best CO, because its hard for me to put in the time sometimes and recruiting is hard. We have had some Mongrels already left to join other clans and our numbers have been down of late. The numbers seem to have really drop after we dropped the server.

I have posted this poll to get an idea where we should go. I personally think the best thing to do is to join another clan, but be are own squad inside that clan. We can still have our own Squad days, but we’ll be with a much bigger clan.

It doesn’t matter to me what we do, I just want to do it as a squad.

Kinda confused on the 2nd choice.
Join another clan, but be our own squad. Does that mean join another clan, but when in the game we always try to hook up into our own squad (in game). I am pretty sure that is what you mean, but I wanted to be clear on that.

Yes, that is what I ment DD... or still visit other servers on Saturday's and/or Monday's like we do now.

Or be a sister squad with the new clan.

I went with "Join another Clan but be are own Squad" but just barely. It is a close toss-up between that and stay as we are. Of course, it would depend on which Clan we were talking about - a Clan close to what we have in AH (camaraderie and having fun is more important than skill or winning-above-all) would be ideal.

In reading the e-mails, I tend to agree with the Saturday time slot being a problem; mid-day Saturday if difficult to be available to game what with family commitments and all. The last couple of weekends I've been busy with things that really needed to be done around the house, and couldn't be available at the game time on Saturdays. I'm thinking later on Sundays or Mondays would be reasonable.

Okay, It seems like no matter what we do we need to change the time on Saturday or even change the day. I remember back when we had did WWIIOL we use to start at 6:00PM Pacific, 9:00PM Eastern time on Saturday's and it seem to work good then.

Why don't we do this and I'll talk to Midi and Daddog and see what also works for them.... Why don't we switch the time on Saturday's to 9:00PM Eastern Time and keep the squad as is for now, but still look for another clan as well. I agree with ASAdog and try to find a Clan like are Aces High/BF2 Squad. I know Bison is with HOG, but I think they could be a little serious for our liking. But, we can ask Bison how they are. If we can't find one we ALL like then we'll stay as is. But, no matter what we'll stay together. We're all Mongrels!!

Yeah I got my to work... the key was having the same Video Graphics resolution in the game as your windows setting is.... at at least at one of the higest settings.
