I spent last Saturday taking photos during a friends platoon training (vehicle and persons check point training), C Co, 2 / 162 Infantry, Oregon National Guard.

Thought I’d share some of the pic’s.

My friend Dave in a Hummer turret with his M249

His CO giving the briefing

A M249

A supported M249 gunner in the bushes

A M203 gunner supported in the bushes

Dave's platoon getting ready to move out to the check point

Since they ALL had guns, I feel it should be posted in this forum.

P.S. Durring the drive out to the camp, I must have seen 20 - 30 Elk, three Black Tailed deer, 40 - 50 Canadian geese, and about 100 ducks - no time to take pictures of them though.

Peace,
