Good night as far as killing our primary target.  Not so good on landing.  Only 2 landed.

Personally -- I hit the CV with 4 of 6 500 lbs.
It appears that we had a total of 7 hit the ships with their bombs:
  cowboy45, daddog, forhim, kansas2, mikira, tank1, & tcedog.

45 objects destroyed.  94 objects damaged.  Unfortunately for me Tank had already killed almost everything on the CV so I get no destroyed objects to my credit and mikira only gets credit for the ship itself, although he did put 3k of bombs on the target.

I would have put most if not all of my bombs on the Cruiser, but someone got in the way.

One of my bombs hit Cowboy's tail. Killed us both.  shocked  crybaby2

Top Pilots: Objects Destroyed

      cowboy45 (332nd Flying Mongrels): 19
     TANK1 (332nd Flying Mongrels): 15
     TCEdog (332nd Flying Mongrels): 5
      Mikira (332nd Flying Mongrels): 3

I dropped right behind Mikira, so I got nada as the ship was sinking.

Top squad for objects destroyed.

WTG Dogs!

Very nice job on getting the cv kill Mikira!

Did Morfiend shoot these two zeros or are they the ones I smoked from his top turret?

I "think" you would get the kill as a gunner if you shot them down. Not positive, but pretty sure that is how it works. Morf must have got them before you joined, with his bombs, or with his nose guns.

Good Job guys thumbsup  WTG Mikira on sinking the ship.   I stopped as many of the bullets and shells coming from the zero's as I could, I think 2 or 3 may have missed me laughing1 . For a while I thought they were flying formation behind me, all I could see were red icons.  Morfiend, said that he got the zero's from the ones chasing Baumer? with his nose guns, but he thought he got 3 Huh

The logs we used had a problem and didn't get anything before launch + 43 minutes.  So this one was for the fun of it.  I'm guessing the scores will not be able to be done.

 thx Kansas,
ya I was lucky and nailed a couple of zero's that were swarming Baumer.
1 just vaporized and the other was on fire and smoking, but I didn't get credit for it,then I had another zero cut from my left and fly right into my sites.I must of got a cockpit shot on him as he vaporized at D.000. So between kansas and I we had 2 kills and 2 probs,I heard Kansas say he had 1 smoking.

Not sure, but if you die before the enemy does, you don't get credit?Huh

BTW,Grand Poobah,I nominate you for the nippy, shame ya got Cowboy.

LOL.

Great thing for me is, I got to do some fighter moves! Even got some 50cal pings from my nose gun maneuvering with a zeke!

Thanks to the swarms of friendlies that came in before me, there wasn't anything left for me to drop ON. I dumped mine by reflex on the "stern up" image of the sinking cruiser, and found myself slicing through a horde of red guys. Fortunately they were much slower, and we passed through most of them OK. Saw one of the guys trailing a bunch above me and to the left, so I called it out to my gunner and maneuvered to try to clear the Mongrel. Unfortunately, the friendly went down before I could get there.

Then I saw d0gma below, ahead,  and to the right racing to get away from a pursuer or two. Dove in and closed nicely...the zero saw me, and at 600 he broke. Fortunately he wasn't thinking too well and he broke straight up. So, I pulled up and drew some lead. Got to land a burst or two on his wing, but "a burst or two" from a B-25C might mean 6 rounds, so he got away.

But while d0gma was in the clear, the move left me hanging and slow. I rolled inverted, pulled down, and hit the WEP. Since I had converted forward speed into altitude, the Zekes got to close in by staying straight...and since I had to start all over getting my speed back it was nip-and-tuck for a while. We either flew through a cloud of pebbles or took a bunch of hits from 7mm guns, not sure. Anyway, all we lost was the top gun (ouch!) by the time the horde of slow cons was out of danger range. One guy stayed with me at 1.0, but right when he should have given up a second guy who had some alt dove into the chase. Was able to hold him off until he finally gave up.
