Dog's
HTC has started a new forum for editing the offline missions. And what's even better is they have also just released a mission editor. Looks very thorough and lot's to learn but, we can now control the behavior of the bombers!!!

Not going to be able to do any GV or PT Boat stuff but, All kinds of air to air options are now available. The bombers now behave correctly, you can set them up to bomb a target. So you could make a mission to attack bombers and set it you that you have to get past their escorts before they drop. Can enable warps so you don't have to spend time climbing and such.

My first priority is to "clean up" the missions I've created so far and then to begin building new ones. There's a lot to learn, it's going to take a bit of time, kinda like the terrain editor.

This is just a great addition to the game.  If used correctly it will greatly decrease the learning curve for new players and provide a great way for everyone to practice specific skills.  I bet Baumer's already been chasing bombers with his rockets:)  I think air to air rockets are going to start getting a lot more use in the MA -- bombers will be in trouble

Well the mission editor is a big must for making canned missions for CT.

Getting the AH community to work with and on it, find bugs, problems and possibly new solutions.
That could be a huge step towards CT.

Meantime if CT is on the back burner, and HTC is back doing things for the main game. Well I for one am a happy camper.
Long overdue IMO.
