What you need in order to install Project Reality
•   Battlefield 2 and patch with the v1.41 patch
•   Download Project Reality v0.7 Core Installer
•   Download Project Reality v0.7 Levels Installer
•   Ensure your computer meets Battlefield 2's minimum requirements:
BF2 Minimum System Specifications: 1.7 GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, nVidia GeForce FX 5700 or ATI Radeon 9500 GPU  Recommended System Specifications for Project Reality: 2.4GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, Video Card with at least 256 MB of RAM Approximately 2GB of free disk space on the hard drive that Battlefield 2 is installed.

Steps to installing PR
1) Install Battlefield 2
2) Install any Battlefield 2 Expansion Packs (these are NOT required for Project Reality)
3) Install the full BF2 Patch (Currently: BF2 1.41)
4) Install the latest PR Build (Currently: PR 0.7)
NOTE: There are sometimes problems encountered if you install into a different path from the default install path dictated by the BF2 and PR installers. For ease of use, we recommend installing BOTH BF2 and the PR install into the default paths denoted in each installer.

Hee hee...saw the title and thought it was about "Photo-Recon" flights. Guess I need to get my head out of the cockpit now and again...

That would be cool. Smiley

That was an idea we have had before in FSO and used once or twice. I will have to bring it up again. Smiley

Need a hand here. I've downloaded the maps PR file from 2 different servers, and each time gotten a "file corrupted" message. What mirror or download site did you guys use? I've lost track of which ones I tried unsuccessfully, and having downloaded that 850MB file twice already.....

nm, problem solved....used the dratted gamespy server to get the "levels" (not maps, my bad) part. Although I had to give email addy, I got the file I needed.

Hope to (pathetically) join you next week!
