Now thats a real Runstang

« on: December 28, 2007, 05:32:53 PM »

Ok,I guess I made the nice list cuz Santa brought me a new monitor.

This is my first widescreen monitor,the native resolution is 1900 x 1320, but I'm running 1280 x 960.

My question is what would you recommend I set my game resolution to???

The reason I ask is because I have a slight problem with my gunsite being streched, instead of a circle ,it's oval shaped.

 Any suggestions will be appreciated

I running a 24" Dell at 1920 x 1200 (which is my native rsolution) and don't have those stretch problems in the game. I also have my refresh rate set to 59hz and my frame rate set to match so I don't get a flucuation in the network or video sync. What video card are you running? I running GeForce 8800 GTX with 768 video ram.

I wish I could answer your question but it would depend on your vid card I would imagine.

 T, I have a 7800 gtx 256 mb, the 512 version wasnt out yet.
I seem to have it sorted out,had to adjust AA and AF,also forced Vsync so I'm getting 60 fps. I have only seen it drop to 55 acouple of times usually it is 60/59 FPS. I tried a few higher resolutions but my old eyes dont like them, kinda getting used to it now, benefit to strech,I get an oval blackout window so I can see abit more......LOL

I have a 20" wide screen that I run at 1680 by 1050 it fits nicely, need to play with it some to find the right proportion.
