On the bright side, I've been beta-testing PIRATES OF THE BURNING SEA, the new Naval MMO.  Very fun.  Think the board game "Wooden Ships & Iron Men", or the PC game "Sid Meir's Pirates!" as a multi-player title.   It's got some rough spots, but the sheer fun of it makes me overlook them.

Attached is a screenshot of my ship at sea.

Oh, yeah, and if you type "/toot" while you're in Avatar (person) mode on land, your little guy farts on command.  It. Never. Gets. Old.

I was home sick yesterday and played it for an hour or two.

It's no WOW killer. It might survive with a small dedicated player base like WW2OL.

It reminds me of the Korean game Navy Field with pirate ships. Kinda repeative after a few battles.

Try it , it's free for now.
