Or at least some of them. I havent gotten my film pics yet, so I decided to select some of the digital ones I took at the show. I've uploaded smaller versions, so if you want the big ones let me know. A little washed out so you can see the faces...left to right: Greyga's Dad; Greyga; Big AL; TWolf (Zip41); Wooly; Hack9 (my brother) And here are 3 more scoundrels: BearKats (aka Goldelks); Ogie; SHawk Here's one of me with Alex Boudreaux, one of the original Tuskegee airmen

I'm really disappointed in the low light pictures with the digital camera. It's a point and shoot, nothing fancy, that I borrowed from my son, but the lilttle LCD screen fooled me into thinking some of the museum shots were clear when they were pretty bllurry. End result: the group pics I grabbed at the Air Force Museum are pretty bad, almost unrecognizable. While I lost some aircraft photos too, the planes will be there in the future -- its the "people moments" that can't be replaced. Oh, well...hopefully I got some outdoor ones with the 35mm.
Also learned something about camcorders the hard way. We have a camcorder that only has a LCD screen, no direct view window. In the BEAUTIFUL bright outdoor light we had that day, I couldn't see the screen well enough to keep the planes targeted...which meant the autofocus didn't have a high contrast object to focus on, which left me with blurred out white sky images while the poor lens tracked in and out looking for something to lock on to. I hope I got some good sounds.
There is absolutely NOTHING like the sweet, sweet sound of four merlins cranking up at once. My knees got weak when the Lanc started -- absolutely unmistakable.

If you like these...just wait! My 35mm takes much better pictures, and it has a long lens...so when I pick those up, and scan the best of them for upload -- there should be some very nice ones.
I'm uploading some more of the digitals as I type, and I'll post them ASAP.
About sounds: I do have some video, and some of it will have come out OK (Like when the lancaster was starting up on the ground). Also, there should be some sounds on the unusable video of the sky. However, i have no idea how the mike will have worked in the wind outside...we'll just have to see when i have a chance to get around to it.
Also, these pics are scaled down for the BBS. If there's one you like, and would like to have the full size of (2500 by whatever pixels) just let me know and I'll email it over.

OK, here goes round 2. These are posted in the order I took them, mostly without caption. from Left to right: TWolf, Greyga, Greyga's dad, Odee, Wooly Yep, a MERLIN!! My brother, Steve (Hack9). Notice the obvious glow that can only mean...nearby warbirds!! (By the way, he'd never tell you but proud big Bro can -- he's got his 3rd Degree black belt in Tai Kwan Do, and is aboiut halfway to his 4th)

Now on to the Air Force Museum in Dayton, where we met up with Odee, TWolf, and Wooly. Unfortunately, my camera let me down, and lots of the shots are uselessly blurred -- including most of the ones with people in them. Spitfire Mark V, in a skin we have in the game. Right behind is a recon version of the Mossy, and to the right you can see the nose of an A-36 (the allison engined, pre-merlin attack modification of the P51). You can also see the greenhouse nose of a B-24D to the right. From left to right, Mig 21, TWolf, Wooly, early AWACS based on Constellation, Hack9 The B2 was really impressive, and the B-1 and B-58 were nice as well. Nothing quite compares to the size of the B52 and B36, though! There was a B29 walk through fuselage, and in the WW2 hangar the original "Bock's Car" was on display -- the one that dropped the Nagasaki bomb. Here's Odee in his new SimPit.... .......he wishes! (We kept hunting for the keyboard...)

Those are great! Did Odee tell you he was part of our squad for a short time? Great fellow IMHO. Hey if Hack ever comes to a Con I will want to spend some time on the mat with him. Always looking for someone to teach me more.
