We all fly when we can.
But, Friday night is when the Dogs come from all over to fly w/each other.
I look foward to that every week. (ILMAO) with you guys.
I know that this squad is not about skill level, its about having fun.
That being said, Do you think we could have one more time. (ie. weeknight or whenever) to work as a squad.
There is so much info in this game. I know for myself flying as a squad can get alittle crazy.
I know it would help me.

Also I think it give poeple who missed flying on friday the time to still be w/ the Pack.

what are your thoughts

I'd like to see Snapshots have more squad participation, hoever they are a lot less structured than FSO and can devolve into stupidity sometimes.

They are Wednesday night at 10:00 PM EST.

I haven't been going lately because my Weds are kinda busy but if there were more coordinated participation I would try harder to make it.

I would like to also Bison. If we were I would also like to see it in the Wed night Snapshots. Problem is I often can't make those, but they are good inasmuch they are often a single life event and encourage that fly to live mind sent you need in Friday Squad Ops.

With all the new guys we have maybe I can do a poll and see what nights are best for everyone. I did one a couple years ago. Time for another I think. Smiley

I made a similar post in the poll, but since the issue's brought up here as well....

It seems to me that the FSO's nicely meet the needs of players who like the structured, one life approach; and I like how DD supports the Snapshots by giving credit for attending. But, especially as the squad grows, it might be good to make allowances for all kinds of players -- including those like me whose attention spans are short enough that the long climb outs, long ingresses, brief action, and long flights home are painfully boring. What's more, when planning or execution breaks down we can get set up for overwhelmingly one sided fights that are painfully frustrating.

I'd REALLY request that a second squad night be set up to meet the needs of arena style players, just like the FSO's fit the styles of the event players.

None other than Ghosth himself, not a MA fan at all, said last week that cooperative play in the MA with other Mongrels was the most AH fun he's had in years.

And to be honest although we Mongrels always mark up as wingmen we're aren't all that great at cooperative combat That's something that only gets better with practice. Trouble is, FSOs give maybe 5 minutes of real combat practice in exchange for the 90 minutes invested -- and you must admit we'd get a much better ratio in any of the arenas. And for those who don't like (or don't do well in) the MAs, I strongly suspect that with practice in cooperative work the Mongrels will find that those skills can be built exactly like ACM skills can -- one block at a time.

No we don't and I will be the first to admit it.

I really think some practice with 2 vs 1 helps and if ever 3 of you are on at the same time consider going to the dueling arena and giving it a try.

The other item mentioned in other threads was using Team Speak. If we were to divide into flights of 4 and those 4 used team speak I bet it would be a benefit to those 4 AND to the squad as a whole because those 4 would not be using squad vox as much.

Maybe we should look into 4 guys to start out using TS and those 4 would try it out and report back to us the pro's and con's of using TS in Aces High during FSO. Would have to be 4 or 5 guys that almost always make it to FSO. Volunteers?

If we divide into flights, I'd suggest using the mission planner to be able to highlight your flight.  I'm not sure if you can put multiple flights into a mission of the same AC with the same load out.  My biggest hurdle other than my disregard for orders is that I tend to loose my wingman in the fight and I can't pick him up from the see of icons.  Even when I have him highlighted.
