Post when you can and let us know how it went. I will not be around Friday at all, but Saturday my summer starts. I will go in for a day or two next week, but after that I have some time off. Smiley

Thanks All!

If this one goes like the last one (I suspect it will) I'll be able to post in a few days and even get on-line and fly (since both eyes will be corrected).

Peace,

Well now! Here I am just four hours after my surgury and I can see well enough to spend a few minutes on-line.

It went great! I should take it easy though and give it another couple of days before I spend more than a few minutes starring at a monitor.

Later All,

Things just keep getting better!

I went from being effectively blind in my right eye and nearly so in my left eye, and now I'm 20/30 right and 20/25 left without glasses!

I'll try to join y'all starting this Wednesday or Thursday.

Peace,

Effective today I am back to full duty! toothy9

My left eye has presently settled to 20/20 and my right at 20/25.

Because my new internal synthetic lenses only have a single focal point I will still need to wear glasses to make minor adjsutments for distance and up close. I'll be fitted for the new prescription lenses in about three weeks (have to make sure both eyes are fully healed and settled). In the mean time, I can deal with things being a little fuzzy at great distances and I use off-the-shelf (1.5 power) reading glasses for up-close.

Life is good!  occasion14 icon_salut
