Up-Date Download Problem

I’ve tried several times to log into the Online Arena. Of course I haven’t been on-line for several weeks, so I still have Version 2.09 Patch 5.

I get the pop-up asking if I want to download the latest version. I click on yes, but the pop-up just disappears and no download takes place.

I attempt to log into the Online Arena again, get the same pop-up, and get the same results when I select yes. I’ve attempted this a half-dozen times now.

Is there another way to up date my version, or …. ?

Thanks. I was hoping not to have to completely re-install, but if that's what it comes down to I will.

I could be having the download problem because HTC is down again. I'll try again later.

I finally gave up and just deleted my old AH II and downloaded the new full version.

Now all I have to do is re-set all of my in-game settings.

I finally gave up trying to download the latest patch. I just deleted the old one and downloaded the complete new version.

Now all I have to do is re-set my in-game settings.

Ummm I should have chimed in earlier.  You can keep your settings folder(s) under the install directory and then remove the install.  Copy them back in afterwards and you should be fine.  This is especially true for all the custom views you set in the cockpit.

AHHHHH! too late  ( jjk ). I should have thought of that myself.
