While attending an American Mountain Man re-enactment in Germany, I was introduced to a libation called "Apple Pie" - it was/is wonderful! So I thought I'd share the recipe with ya'll.

Equipment -

1 Clean (sterile) 5 gal glass bottle with cork stopper

Ingredients -

1 bottle of Apfel Korn (a German apple liquor/schnapps – do not accept a substitute)

1 bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum

1 gallon of clear apple juice

2 cinnamon sticks

Procedure –

Place all the ingredients into the clean class bottle

Cork it

Set aside in a cool dark place for several days.

Serve chilled - enjoy  thumbsup

Tastes just like apple pie, minus the crust.
