I've been in the Beta Test for Lord of the Rings Online since November. The NDA is lifted, so I can share my knowledge and experiences with everyone.

So if anyone is interested, just say so and I'll answer questions and stuff. Smiley Not gonna write up a dissertation if no one is interested. :p

I read a bunch of reviews the day the NDA was lifted... sounds like a great game. Will definitely fill a niche in the Fantasy MMORPG genre...  There was a funny thought from one of the reviewers about skimpily clad hobbit lasses hanging out by the tavern saying LOL and OMG, spoiling the immersion... made me laugh.

On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

hehe!

anyone who goes into a fantasy MMORPG expecting the immersion and canon to be respected by the entire playerbase is flat out delusional. Smiley There are always gonna be people breaking immersion, like people playing Stairway to Heaven on their lutes. Wink
