Hey guys grab this file. It's a must have ack-ack sound that will change your game for the better.

Throw it in your sound dir and override the previous file.

That is weird. Downloaded the file. Went to C\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II\sounds dir and their is only two files in it.
hit_7.wav
cleaned.txt

What is up with that?

It should have a bunch of sound files. Going off line to see if I have sounds.

Sondog has all of his sound files listed.

Well, I downloaded the file. Sounds great SunKing.  thumbsup I put it in sondogs file. I will see what he says next time he is near some puffy ack.  icon_biggrin

Daddog, since a few patches ago, the default sounds got wrapped up in a sounds.res file (which should be in your game install folder). The Sounds folder still gets created, but only contains a token text file (as long as youre using default sounds).

Adding sound files or plane type folders (with corresponding sound files) to your Sounds folder will cause the game to use those, and rely on default sounds (from the res file) for the ones that are missing in your Sounds folder.

For you guys that don't have custom sounds let me link you the best pack out there.

Waffles old sounds.

Daddog you'll need to see if you can connect from work and download his pack.

If anyone gets the Waffle pack, override the waffle "explode2.wav" with the one linked at the top of this thread.
