Sitting here at work crying my eyes out. He and I spent a lot of hours on the phone over the last 3 years. He always made me feel bigger than I was in the AH community. He loved Squad Ops and the Snapshots. I trained him as an Admin CM and he took my advice as gospel. He shared with me some very personal troubles in his life over the phone. I wish I could have been near him. I don't know the details of what happened, but I don't feel good about it. http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=195896

Talked to 68Falcon when I got home. 68Falcon must be having a rough time of it. Those two talked on the phone every week (often daily) for the past 7 years as X.O. and C.O. of their squad.
I can still hear his voice over vox. I am really going to miss him.

I'm having a real hard time dealing with this, When I first started on AH, the only plane I noticed (apart from the spitfire) was the Lancaster, So up I went in a set of lancs, after a while KO came up beside me and said my flaps were down, I then asked what flaps were and How could I fix the flaps to go up, instead of laughing at me, he joined me in the cockpit and went through all the basics with me. I'm stuck here down in Vegas till Friday night and so won't make it for the fly pass, Can someone please read my handle out at the flypass-please I have tears in my eyes and I feel really sad, Why is this world such a cruel place? Where and when did it start? Where does it come from? I have to go and take some medication now, my mind is fragile enough as it is and this isn't helping.

Bro I'll handle that for you. I didn't know him personally but saw him around from time to time. If he has DDogs respect and the respect of my squad mates then he automatically has mine..
It seems like it's been a very sad week around AH not only for other members but for the squad as well. Let's hope that all of the bad times are behind us this year and 2007 turns out to bring blessings and happiness to us all.

both ddog and I got a <S> in there for you brother.
Not to sound overly corny but what happened yesterday was one of the most humbling and beautiful experiences of my life. It was an honor to be a part of it. I'm looking forward to the films. If anybody wants mine it's 5 mg.

It was awesome being there.
The film only does it partially justice... theres just no way capturing the spirit of over 200 people online, within vis range (all those black specks you see on film are C47!!) - thinking hte same thoughts.
I had the priviledge to talk to KOs wife later (who witnessed the memorial). Im still in awe at the strenght that woman displayed. She said shell be visiting the "AH Family" in the future, so look out for MRS68KO and make her feel welcome please!
