STSICKs: MS FF Sidewinder dieing

My sidewinder is dieing and I'm thinking about going to the x45.  Mongrel feedback would be appreciated.  Also wondering if there is a way to "play" with it before purchasing it.

The only stick I've known is the MS sidewinder, so I expect the learning curve to be high, but would like to make the change now since I'm still "re-learning" how to fly after a couple of months off.

Rig that this will be going on is currently w2k, but may be going to XP shortly.

Just found out a friend has one and he's not using it, so I will borrow it and give it a test.  

So can anybody send me a good AH profile and any info on getting it setup?

I used Eaglers profile and just remapped a few buttons as I wanted.  You need to install the Saitek Smart Technology program and then you can just unzip Eaglers profile and its done.

In Aces High you need to select the X45 for the pitch, yaw and rudder ... then enable the buttons.  It is a pain in the butt to do the first time:)

I use the X45 with CH Pro Pedals.  The rudder on the X45 is a nightmare IMO.  I think the combo is awsome.
