THis game has bounced around publishers for a year.
This week they finally annouced a ton of info and screenshots.
It looks and sounds incredible.

Combat Mission taken to the next level.

Battlefront is involved, which is good, at least to me.

I should be getting a preview copy of it fairly soon.  I will let you know my opinions.

Not quite.

It is more like Combat Mission and Close Combat combined.

Some issues are being raised, most notibly the relatively small maps.  If the maps are only 1k by 1k then any advantage German armor would have would be negated since the Russian optics weren't nearly as good as the German ones.  Tigers would lose the long range shoot capability that they really needed in these battles.

For units so small , they have some incredible detail. Check the 2nd picture down... weathering.

It's based upon the IL2 engine.

I am hoping some day we will see an armored simulation based upon this.

Ya, I remeber when Oleg was pimping this title then it fell off the earth.
Since its the IL-2 enging I guess we can expect a Close Combat type game..not reall a Combat Mission title.
