I really noticed a difference in the skill of TCE since the last time he and I dueled. I remember the first match after the cold merge I would always come around first. This time is was even for both of us.

First match was the 109K which I have been flying for a couple weeks. I was surprised I lost it. Ended up hitting the ground trying to pull up too hard.  violent1 He had angles on me first and I was trying too hard to pull it around to turn the tables. Well done TCE!

Second match TCE picked the P-40B. That was a long round with he and I going to the deck. We must have done about 6 360 degree turns chasing each others tail. Finally after a couple minutes of intense turning  confused2 I started to come around on him. I finally finished him off.

Third match was the P-38J. First time in my duels I picked a P-38. Tells you I was serious.  This was the first time I had picked a P-38 in any of my duels. LOL This was a long round because he and I collided about 5 times right after the cold merge. Finally I tried not looping over so straight (maybe he did something different too) and we managed not to collide. At the top of our half loop I got in a good burst on his engine so he was damaged right off. After a few wingovers I managed to get angles on him and take him down.

Forth match was the F4U1. Our first match was over in short order. After our cold merge we did some moves and much to my surprise he came up and over on me when I was trying to do the same only he did it in about ½ the time! I was shocked and had no idea how he did this. After a couple rotations to the right he was getting close to a gun solution and I was in trouble.help Taking damage I kicked hard rudder and chopped the throttle trying to get him to over shoot. He was on top of me  and we collided a second after he shot me up. He had me on that one, but with the collision we did it over. The next round I had a feeling on what I did wrong and was not as cautious as the first round. I felt I knew when it would stall and how hard I could come around. This time things were more even after the cold merge and after some moves I managed to get angles on him and finally a gun solution.

Great flying TCE. I need to practice if I want to stay at the top of our squad ladder. You have really improved.

Daddog -

TCE is getting to be a real handful. He and I dueled for about an a hour and 1/2 last Sunday. He beat me 3 - 2.
Several of our matches resulted in hard, on-the-deck scissoring, trying to get advantages.

I sure would like to get collisions turned off in the Dueling Arena, especially since killshooter is now on.
Could you help convince HTC to do this?

Thanks

LOL Vlad. Join our dueling ladder. You can watch your own. Wink I don't have any one in my squad that I am dueling any time soon, but I did challenge 68KO the C.O. of a large MA squad (68th Lighting Lancers) to a duel on Sours regular ladder. This will be my first "public" duel, but I know I need to practice.

Rgr Sour. I can ask, but that is all. I don't think they listen to me any more than any other players. Since you run the dueling ladder can you give me a few reasons you want collisions off in the DA? That would help when I e-mail them. Smiley

Looks like DD covered the duel pretty well. Once again it was fun, but I really enjoy dueling. I should have had him on the first duel in the f4u, but my gunnery still needs some work crybaby2. It's always nice to fly against the guys in our squad, lots of fun and no pressure. Well at least that's how it should be, my hands got a little sweaty during the p40 fights!! <S> DD. I'll be back!  occasion14

Almost forgot, Sour and I have had some really good fights, seems we're more on the same level. I think we've dueled 3 times total, and all were close enough that one mistake decided the fights! Right now DD and Outlaw are well above my flying skills, but I figure it's good to learn from them and try to steal some of their moves!

you where a handful last time we went around...

besides get me out of the 51 and i am really lost the time in the stang is a very fun time and has been real addicting.. i tried to fly a 109k4 the other night and lawndarted right in to ground dang slow birds can't handle a 550 dive without compressing... BangHead

i haven't flown against a person in this squad that hasn't made the flying very enjoyable and heart pumping yet and if your all getting better then i could be in real trouble of getting pounced...
